Raising a child and trying to afford life in this environment is not easy for anyone.   Worry about food, clothes and housing as well as how to advance her education creates stress for Patricia and uncertainty about her future.  Her cheerful 11 month old daughter Carolyn is a bright spot in her life and she is working hard to ensure she has everything that she needs for a happy and healthy life.  While Patricia has lived in Regina all of her life and does appreciate the resources and help that is currently available here, she dreams of a future that would be financially easier with a home to call her own.
