Shanara moved around a lot between Saskatchewan and Alberta but has lived in Regina with her children for the past five years.  She tells us they are proud members of the community!  Unfortunately her son’s father has passed away and her daughter’s father is not part of their lives. Seven year old Romeo loves sports and music.  He takes guitar lessons. Four year old Mika is loving and a kind “old soul”. She loves her baby dolls and purses.  A challenge Shanara faces is transportation to get groceries and take the children to lessons. Shanara would like to get her driver’s license so Romeo and Mika can participate in lessons offered by the city. She would also like to get her job back as an electrical apprentice.
