Aleksandra grew up in Israel, a place she still lovingly calls home, and moved to Regina, Canada, in 2012 hoping to build a more stable financial future. Her family began in June 2016 with the birth of her son, Michael, whose arrival was emotional and challenging due to an emergency C-section. She describes Michael as special, bright, curious, and proudly left-handed, and he continues to be her motivation and center of her world. As a single mother and sole provider, Aleksandra faces many challenges but remains hopeful and determined. She recently completed an administrative assistant diploma and dreams of finding a better-paying job to build stability for herself and Michael. Her story is one of resilience, love, and dedication to giving her son the best possible future.
