A is 19 years old and grew up on the reserve before moving to Regina in 2021 to start building more independence for herself. She loves colouring and doing her makeup, both of which give her a creative outlet and a calming way to express who she is. A feels happiest when she’s outside, especially in nature, where she can slow down, breathe, and feel connected to the world around her. This past year has been a big milestone for her, as she’s living in her own place for the very first time. Keeping steady housing for almost a year is something she’s incredibly proud of, and it reflects her hard work, responsibility, and determination.
