Ashley grew up in Regina and loves spending time with her children, taking small road trips, enjoying nature walks, and snuggling their pets, Nemmie and Peanut. After recently moving into a new home, her family is finally beginning to feel settled. Having grown up in the foster care system, Ashley is dedicated to creating stability and breaking generational cycles for her children. She proudly describes her son as a loyal friend, her daughter as someone learning to manage ADHD through staying active, and her niece—who has been in her care for five years—as a creative teen who loves music, painting, and volleyball. Ashley’s family faces challenges with food stability, clothing, and bills, but she continues to work hard to provide for them. Her hope for the future is to give her children a loving home full of memories, where they never have to experience homelessness or financial hardship.
