Betty was born in Southern Manitoba, but moved to Regina 21 years ago when her husband came to attend school in the city. They have three sons together who are all grown up, but currently her wonderful grandson stays with her almost full-time. Unfortunately the grandson’s father is in prison for the time being. Betty is actively involved in her local church where she leads the ladies’ ministry and also helps with mentoring young girls at the church’s private school. Her health has been a challenge for her recently, but that’s not stopping her from being generous and loving towards all the people around her. She is a gift!
