Growing up in Regina, life wasn’t easy, and much of her childhood was spent in foster care. Now, as an adult, CK is working hard to create the stability and love she didn’t have growing up. Her four-year-old son is her greatest motivation, and she treasures every moment they spend together, especially going swimming. Recently, CK has overcome legal challenges and continues to work closely with Child and Family Services to rebuild her connection with him. CK is focused on showing how much she’s grown and how dedicated she is to being the best mom she can be. Her hope for the future is to have her son back in her care and to give him the life she’s always dreamed of. This Christmas, she’s wishing for hope, healing, and the chance to build new memories together.
