All Destiny wants is to be able to give her kids a good Christmas. Everything is so expensive, the bills are sky high and most of the money goes to rent and food. To make things worse Destiny missed the cutoff for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper and it makes her want to cry to think of the kids missing out. Life has been hard for Destiny, she has lived in many reservations around Regina and finally settled in the city five years ago to get away from the toxic life. She has been living a healthy lifestyle for her children and has come to enjoy Regina for the people and friends that she has made. With three kids of her own, her family expanded three years ago when she took in five foster children. They all bring something unique to the table and their personalities are all different, but it works and they are one big happy family. While her short term goal is to try and put a nice Christmas together for her kids, Destiny’s long term goal is to get more involved with her culture and continue to heal.
