Growing up in Kelvington, Jeannette came to Regina in 1988 because she needed more healthcare than she could get in the smaller centre. She thinks fondly of living in the rural community and loves all things related to farming and horses. She was a great equestrian in her day and feels that horseback riding was one of her real talents. These days she is focused on her health challenges and securing better accommodation.
