Joyce, aged 69, was born and raised in Regina. She lives with her mentally handicapped daughter Jolena (age 45) and one of her granddaughters Brielle (age 6). Joyce has learned a lot about forgiveness through Jolena, who has a humble and forgiving spirit. Brielle is a very active and cheeky girl who brings a lot of light into her life. Joyce has had a challenging life, but gains strength from Jolena and Brielle. She is an active member of her local church, where she often blesses the congregation with her delicious cooking!
