Julia was born in 1987 and grew up in Regina. She enjoys Regina because it is small, multicultural community driven and supportive. She did leave Regina for a short period of time after high school but returned when she was 19 her eldest son was born and she wanted to be closer to family. Her eldest daughter, Maria, is kind accepting and empathetic. She is very creative and loves to read and write. Her youngest son, Josh, is sweet caring and funny. He is very creative and loves to build things with blocks. Some challenges that Julia and her family have been facing are staying financially afloat as a single mother in school without child support, working toward healing as a family and rebuilding together and managing to balance life, family school and recovery is a learning process. Some hopes that Julia has for the future is to become self reliant, healthy, healed and finish school so that she in a position to positively guide her kids her kids to a bright and fulfilling future.
