In 1977, Karen came to Regina from Sandy Lake to visit a friend and she never left! She now calls North Central home and loves the community as well as Indigenous Christian Fellowship and Good News Chapel. A very spiritual person, Karen listens to gospel music and watches Christian shows on Youtube. She loves spending time with her kids and grandkids and prays for her family to be saved. Karen has mobility issues and uses a walker, which is very hard in the snowy months, and also has vision problems. Despite these health challenges, Karen still finds the courage to provide guidance and counseling to those in need. Her hope for the future is that she can be a witness to Jesus and continue to grow in her faith.
