Melissa J. was born and raised in Regina, where she welcomed all seven of her children and has worked tirelessly to raise them on her own. Her home is full of personality, but managing the needs of so many children, some of whom struggle with blindness, intellectual disabilities, and FASD has become increasingly overwhelming. These complex needs require constant care and attention, adding to the heavy financial and emotional burden Melissa carries every day. She is also facing ongoing mental health challenges, making even routine tasks feel nearly impossible. On top of this, she is trapped in a long, exhausting court case that has drained her emotionally and spiritually, leaving her with very little strength to spare. Despite her relentless efforts, Melissa is reaching a point where she cannot manage alone. This holiday season, any support would bring desperately needed relief and could make a life-changing difference for her family during this extremely difficult time.
