“Dialysis gets bad some days,” Shayn shares. “Thankful for [my] kid and [that] my children have a safer life and [will] finish school.” The hopes of a father go with the children wherever their journey takes them. Shayn grew up on Gordon’s Reserve. “[My daughter is] helpful, smart, helps with my dialysis [and is a] social person,” he says. “[My son is] quiet, strong-minded, helpful and a social person.”
